La voix de la guerre is conceived as a field of graphic testimony rather than an illustration of war. Across nine works, the human figure is fragmented into faces, hands, bodies, skulls and dense linear formations. White marks emerge against black paper as if drawing were operating in reverse: form is not placed onto a neutral ground but extracted from darkness.

Each work isolates a condition produced by prolonged violence — scream, exhaustion, despair, terror, loss, prayer — not as private confession, but as a structure of collective perception. Repetition turns line into pressure; accumulation transforms the surface into a register of duration, where body and memory remain under continuous strain. The cycle refuses narrative resolution. Its subject is not only the event of war, but the transformation of perception under historical pressure.

The project enters the modern tradition of graphic testimony associated with Goya, Käthe Kollwitz and Otto Dix without reproducing their visual languages. Here, line becomes both structure and evidence: a means of constructing the body and registering its instability. Presented at Sorbonne Artgallery, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris in 2022, La voix de la guerre functions simultaneously as a graphic cycle, an exhibition document and a record of historical experience translated into line.
